About Us

Why meal time success
Between the time everyone gets home at 5.00pm and bedtime at 9.00 pm, there are four optimistic hours in most households in which one has to debrief the day, put out fires, put dinner on the table, clean up and get ready for the next workday. So, where is the time for creativity to help organize and minimize your efforts in the kitchen? Having been in your shoes and yearning for daylight-savings time to dawn upon every day, we have created Meal Time Success (MTS) to help you provide easy and fun meals that your family will love. Our aim is to make sure your efforts are channeled into enjoying time with your family by minimalizing the time used for meal preparation. All our recipes can serve the entire family too.

About Sri
MTS is a culmination of my two passions, food and kids, with my two eternal pursuits, creativity and efficiency. Exposure and experience to global cuisine has taught me to pursue whipping up creative meals in an efficient way. With pedagogy being an integral part of my everyday life, understanding the needs of children has been my fascination both at work and home. These days kids are born and raised in the I-phone era, so time tested techniques do not suffice for the kids of the I-phone era :). They seek taste, texture and variety in food just like adults do, but their palate is not yet mature enough to handle all the foods that adults can. So I figured out the right compromise between offering a variety of foods and the anatomical tolerance in kids. It also requires a great deal of salesmanship to convince these young taste buds. So I created recipes that mimic their favorite foods like pizza, nuggets, mac ’n cheese and noodles. I then slowly noticed my friends adopting my techniques and winning mealtime battles with their kids. Furthermore, like most moms, I had a commute and career to care for and a passion to provide healthy and fun meals for my family. I love to travel and have received a lot of inspiration from various kitchens around the world. In addition, I love to entertain and I try to ensure kids have as much fun with their food as the adults do. Incorporating global cuisine into a very tight schedule was not possible without creating shortcuts and prioritizing simplicity in both the techniques involved in food preparation and cooking. The satisfaction of the whole family at the end of a nice meal prompted me to share my recipes with those who seek similar success over mealtime with the family. I hope you try our recipes and post your feedback and success stories (or the lack of). Your stories will help us improve both our recipes and the website.
